Update...

Ok to say it's been a rough couple days is an understatement! First, the pain in my gut came back with a vengeance Monday night--couldn't sleep and got maybe 2 hours of sleep. I had to be at the hospital all day Tuesday for a bunch of tests, so with next to no sleep me and Allie Ziegler made our way to the hospital for a 7 hour day!

My scans went fine, but my PICC line placement was aweful! They couldn't get the line in, they couldn't get it to flush, it was a bit painful and then to top it all off, it wouldn't stop bleeding...it took an hour to get the bleeding to stop. They finally did and we went home exhausted and beat down.

Then around 9pm or so I started getting the chills and shakes and I spiked a temp of 102.5. With all my risk of infection it meant I had to go to the ER, so I spent the night here at Presbyterian St. Luke's.

Good news is that there is no sign of infection so I think I'm ok...but I got another really long day of chemo today.

I know I'm gonna be ok and will get through it, but it's been a really rough few days and I could use your prayers, positive thoughts and strong, healing energy!
