Meet Angie and Mirella, founders of Red Rocks Soccer Academy! 🥅⚽️

They are proud grant recipients of the Business Foundations Technical Assistance Program from the Minority Business Office.

Two years ago, Angie shared her childhood dream of opening a soccer academy with Mirella. In April of last year, they turned their dream into reality and founded Red Rocks Soccer Academy. Angie, originally from Colombia, moved to the United States on a soccer scholarship, while Mirella has been living in Colorado since she was 10 years old, previously residing in Mexico.

Today, their academy provides training sessions from Monday to Thursday in Aurora, to children aged 5 to 12 years old. They recognized the need for consistent training without seasonal breaks, offering continuous development for young athletes.

The Business Foundations Program provided Angie and Mirella with a broader and more technical vision of how to start their business. They also applied for the grant to reimburse their web design expenses. This program not only helped them financially but also immersed them in Colorado's vibrant entrepreneurial ecosystem.

Angie and Mirella's story reminds us that seeking assistance and resources can make a significant difference in turning your dreams into a successful business.
