Theatre directors from across Colorado come together for an online discussion to connect, share ideas, and talk about what’s happening in regional theatre, their own journeys to becoming directors, and their best practices for working in the rehearsal space. From big cities to small towns, the conversation will be about collaboration, creativity, and a shared passion for keeping the arts strong statewide. 🎭

SCOTT LEVY is an award-winning director, producer, actor and educator. Currently the Executive Director of Green Box Arts in Green Mountain Falls, Levy previously spent 15 years serving as the Producing Artistic Director for the Colorado Springs Fine Arts Center Theatre Company & the Penobscot Theatre in Maine. His work has been seen in over 60 North American cities, Shakespeare's Globe in London, and at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe. Levy teaches Theatre Directing at UCCS and is the Board Chair for the Cultural Office of the Pikes Peak Region.

AMANDA BERG WILSON is Artistic Director of The Catamounts, for whom she has co-created original immersive works in collaboration with and/or on commissions from the City of Westminster; Hanzon Studios and the Museum of Outdoor Arts; 3rdLaw Dance/Theater; and Anythink Libraries. With the Denver Center’s Off-Center wing, she was an original cast member in Sweet & Lucky; directed The Wild Party and Between Us: The Whiskey Tasting; and assistant directed and performed in Theater of the Mind by Mala Gaonkar and David Byrne. She has directed for Creede Rep, Opera Steamboat, the Utah Shakespeare Festival, and will assistant direct Theater of the Mind this spring for Chicago’s Goodman Theater.

NICK CHASE is a writer/director who began his career staging productions at a number of celebrated downtown New York venues including The Ohio, Galapagos, Mo Pitkins, Fez, The Upright Citizens Brigade and The Public Theater/Joe’s Pub where his critically-acclaimed theatrical series SHELLS ran for 3 years. SHELLS was subsequently presented in Los Angeles (Show at Barre) and on Virgin Voyages. Nick is proud to serve Local in collaboration with small and fierce team responsible for the discovery, development, and production of 70+ new plays.
