Meet Murphy Ryan

Hello! I wanted to send out an update that Tom and I welcomed our son, Murphy Ryan, on June 20, 2020! We are exhausted but so in love with him!

My books are open beginning August 19th, if you'd like to get on the schedule, please use the booking link below :) I am looking forward to finally seeing everyone after being out of the studio for so long due to COVID.

In the meantime, I will be enjoying my time with my family and texts and emails may not be immediately returned.

We are in the process of planning our reopening!

Dear Hearten Loft community,

We are so happy to announce that we will be reopening on Monday, June 1st, 2020! This is a long update, but please read it thoroughly so we are all on the same page and can move forward confidently + safely.

A lot of things have changed since we closed our doors due to the COVID-19 pandemic. We are in the process of ordering all of the items we need to safely and properly reopen, including gloves and additional disinfection and sanitization products.

When we reopen in June, we will be following the guidance of our regulatory agency, DORA, Governor Polis and Mayor Hancock.
Below are the current rules for reopening which we will be updated if there are any changes put out.

1. All services will be by appointment only, there will be NO walk-in appointments
2. All clients must wear a mask and wash their hands upon entering the studio. You MUST bring your own mask, one will not be provided for you.
3. Clients must wear masks for the duration of their appointment and services requiring the removal of the mask will not be permitted, such as lip +/or chin waxing.
4. Clients are not permitted to bring any guests along for their appointment.
5. Clients must maintain 6 ft. between themselves and others while in the studio.
6. Clients must complete a precautionary intake form and affirm that they or someone in their household is not experiencing any COVID-19 symptoms.
7. There will be no more than 10 people allowed in the studio at any given time.

In addition to these precautions, we encourage you to use contactless forms of payment- this may be a card on file, ApplePay, Venmo, tap cards, and the like.

The bathroom and kitchen sinks will be available to you to use to wash your hands and there will be numerous bottles of sanitizer throughout the studio and treatment rooms.

We will be booking out extra time for each service to ensure that corners are not cut in cleaning, disinfecting and sanitizing. All common areas and high traffic areas will continue to be cleaned and sanitized, as well as all treatment room tools, equipment, implements, door handles, etc.

-AN UPDATE FROM DANI-
Throughout the last 8 weeks I have been asked by many of you for clarity on my maternity leave.
It is my plan to return to work beginning June 1st with a modified schedule. I plan to work until my maternity leave is scheduled to begin on June 15th. In a perfect world, baby will wait until his due date and I will be able to get all of you in during that 2-week period. However, he may come anytime between now and then. If that should happen, Rebecca is ready and willing to take on my clients as well as her own. I will send out an email if I go into labor early, at which point we will do our best to get you scheduled with Rebecca, or you always have the option to book online with her yourself on our website, heartenloft.com

I am also in the process of hiring 1-2 estheticians who will likely be on-boarded and ready to see you all by June - stay tuned for more on that as well :)
It is my plan to be back in the studio after baby by August- it all just depends on when he decides to make his entrance. In any case, there will be someone available to for you whether that is Rebecca, or one of the new hires. Updates will be provided to you through email and our social media.

Covid-19 Studio Update

Dear Hearten Loft Community,

I wanted to provide an update to you on the current situation at the studio.

Though Gov. Polis's Executive Order has been lifted and Mayor Hancock's Extended Stay at Home Order is set to expire on May 8th, Hearten Loft will NOT be opening until early June.

Due to constantly evolving guidelines and the national shortage of gloves, masks and sanitizing + disinfection products, we feel it best to remain closed at this time. This is not a choice we made lightly, but a measure we feel appropriate to support public health + social responsibility as well as the wellbeing of our clients, staff + community. These reasons, coupled with the the directive that pregnant women (ME) must continue to stay home through May, have led to this decision. We will not be opening until we can uphold Executive Orders and offer a safe environment to our clients and staff.

To those of you with appointments currently on the books, please consider them cancelled. I will reach out in the coming weeks to get you back on my or Rebecca's schedule once we are able to safely reopen.

We ask for your patience during the next month as this is a bit of an arduous process requiring the collaboration of Rebecca, me and you! This is territory we've never had to navigate and while it is stressful, disheartening and frustrating, we want to reopen under the safest and most responsible conditions as possible.

Please feel free to text, email ([email protected]) and DM () me at any point during this time. Online booking will remain disabled at this time. This situation is ever-changing, as are the Executive Orders, and directives from regulatory agencies. We want to eliminate the need to reschedule clients for the third time if orders are amended, extended, reinstated, etc.
