Join us as we sort donated eyeglasses for recycling—and enjoy the rare opportunity to spend your morning doing good while surrounded by refreshments and people who won’t judge you for eating more than your share.

Monday has arrived.

It was not invited.
No one approved it.
And yet, here it is—asking us to wear pants and make decisions.

Fortunately, Lions know how to handle difficult situations:

☕ Locate coffee.
🦁 Find your people.
💛 Do something good.
🍪 Investigate whether snacks are available.

Go forth and conquer Monday—or at least glare at it until Tuesday arrives.

Your eyeglass donation box has filed a missing-person report.

A friendly reminder to all Denver Lions with assigned donation locations:

Please go empty your box.

Yes, yours.

The glasses are waiting.
The box is getting full.
The location staff may be wondering whether you entered witness protection.

We know life gets busy. Calendars fill up. Errands multiply. Suddenly, your donation box has become a small optical warehouse with its own zip code.

Please check your assigned location, collect the donated eyeglasses, and help keep everything moving.

The glasses cannot sort themselves.

but that felt dramatic, and frankly, we’re not built for that kind of distance.

Come when you can. Stay as long as you can.

Bring your family. Bring your friends. Bring teenagers who need to learn that volunteering can, in fact, be more exciting than staring at a phone for six straight hours.

We’ll be sorting eyeglasses, helping a great cause, and partying it up responsibly.
(Which for us means snacks, service, and only a moderate level of chaos.)

Kids have already shown they can handle the tasks at COLERC, so yes — this is a great chance to get the whole crew involved.
