nce containers have been hauled to the wellsite, the containers are simply unloaded from the trucks in minutes by forklift and stacked to the side so the truck can return for the next load. The containers are then placed onto PropX's state of the art, conveyor belt. Contents are unloaded via gravity onto the belt which delivers the sand to the frac blender. Containers are replaced as needed during the fracturing process. Costs of hauling the sand are lower due to use of readily available flatbed trailers as well as the ability to haul more proppant per load. Standby costs for trucks waiting to blow off sand are eliminated, damage to sand from the pneumatic process is eliminated, and most importantly, noise and dust generated by conventional sand transfer is minimized.
