EMDR Denver

This weekend EMDR Denver hosted its first advanced training. Dr. Jamie Marich educated an incredible group of therapists and students on EMDR and Dissociative Disorders. She/they are a practicing therapist, researcher and person with a dissociative identity disorder themselves. We learned how to incorporate the AIP model of therapy into treatment plans for those with DID, how to remain flexible with our language, and had the privilege of expanding our therapeutic lens by not only hearing from contributors of their book Dissociation Made Simple, but also had the honor of witnessing a live demonstration of Dr. Jamie Marich's technique.
