When we first sit down together, one of the questions I often ask is simply: "How are you sleeping?"

It is such a gentle question, but it tells us so much about your overall health. I have always believed that truly caring for you means looking far beyond just your teeth.

Your mouth and your sleep are beautifully and deeply connected. The position of your jaw, the width of your palate, and even where your tongue rests all influence how you breathe at night. And how you breathe while you rest touches almost every part of your day.

It can influence:
🌱 Your daily energy levels and focus
🌱 How comfortable your jaw and neck feel
🌱 The long-term health of your teeth

Sometimes, you might come to see us for something routine, like a simple filling. But during our time together, we often uncover pieces of a much bigger picture. We aren't doing this because we are looking for problems, but because your body is wonderfully wise. It gives us quiet clues, and my goal is simply to help you listen to them.

Dentistry, to me, is about caring for the whole person.

Have you ever noticed a connection between how you sleep and how your jaw or body feels during the day? I would love to hear your thoughts in the comments.

If you are looking for a dental home that takes the time to look at the big picture, comment "CARE" below and we will gladly send you more information. 👇
