I was born and raised in Minneapolis Minnesota and Prince was a HUGE part of my upbringing. My mom was obsessed (still is) with him and his music. I remember listening to Prince for as long as I can remember. He holds a special place in my heart for sure. He passed away on my 25th bday and that tore me apart. I remember sitting at work when I found out and completely breaking down. It's insane how much artists can impact our lives.
