This beautiful client came in with the goal of adding volume to her lower lip for symmetry with her upper lip. After a discussion about facial balance and appropriate proportions to keep a natural appearance, she was agreeable to adding chin and chin shadow filler as well.

Education is my favorite part of a consultation. Try to imagine how it would if she only got lip filler and not chin filler, especially from her profile side view. It would look unnatural and unbalanced to have her lips projected with her chin recessed. Also, adding filler in her chin shadows creates light reflection where there was shadowing. Transition zones are important for keeping her features cohesive. At the end of treatment, she was thrilled with her chin filler result and loved the way it added definition to her lower face!

We also did Sculptra during this treatment, too. The fullness you see throughout her cheeks is not a final result and will go down in a few days. It’s important to remember Sculptra provides gradual results, whereas filler provides immediate results. Sculptra stimulates collagen to naturally produce youthful volume and enhanced skin quality.
