The Gyedi Project

The BRIC Fund is proud to support Black maternal health initiatives – working toward a future where Black mothers receive the care they deserve and Black families thrive across Colorado. The Gyedi Project is closing gaps in Black maternal health through community-rooted care. Their HearMe20 program offers culturally responsive education and support, designed to enhance maternal health outcomes among Black women in Colorado.

For those of us working in health equity, knowing that our partners stand firm with us is both reassuring and necessary. May we all continue to find and cultivate these steadfast partnerships—because the work is too critical to do alone.
To fellow organizations navigating these uncertain times: Keep going. Keep building. And know that support exists, even in the hardest moments.

Congratulations to the 16 nonprofit organizations who received 2024 Strengthening Families and Communities Grants in December, including the four listed below. These organizations are each doing outstanding work in Colorado, which is one of the four states in which TCI's work is currently focused.
