Throwback to My Dental School Days at Panum Institute In University of Copenhagen! 🦷
Wow, this photo takes me back about 14-15 years! 😅
Here I am, in one of our "Dental Materials" classes, learning how to drill for the first time on a phantom mannequin head with realistic plastic teeth. We got to use all kinds of dental drills, from high-speed handpieces to slow-speed contra-angles – you name it, we tried it, since we had to learn it!
🧑🏼⚕️Back then, my dream was to become a dentist and own my own practice. I ended up finishing my bachelor thesis on Chronic vs. Aggressive Periodontitis, but ultimately decided to take a different path and not finishing Uni.
I took my dental education and channeled it into starting a digital marketing agency and ended up working exclusively with dentists. My goal? Initially to help dental practices get more patients and boost their profits. I built frameworks, SOPs, and automations to optimize every aspect of a dental practice.
Without even realizing it, I became an expert in a very niche market. Word of mouth started and quickly I had a real company with a sales, marketing and fulfillment department.
