Meier Skis was founded in Glenwood Springs, Colorado in 2010 and moved the World's First Crafty Skiery to Denver in 2016. Meier has grown into an award-winning, eco-friendly high-performance handcrafted ski manufacturer. 🎿 Factory Friday spotlight on our die-cut bases
🚠 Even though we love to customize graphics for our topsheet, we do not put art on the bottom of Meier Skis. The current material available is much softer and more easily damaged than our black sintered base material
🏔️ We give our bases a pop of color by rolling a contrasting base material through and inserting the branding back into the base of the ski

⛷️ Ever wondered how Meier Skis top sheets come to life? Here is our ski builder James showing us how it’s done. Our graphics are printed on sublimation paper and ink. Once they go under pressure and heat in the ski press the ink transfers onto the durable textured nylon topsheet.
🎿 James starts to layup the ski by wetting out all the components with our eco friendly bio resin, supersap. He then adds the composites like try axial fiberglass, dampening material, and uni directional carbon fiber (don’t worry, there won’t be a pop quiz). The ski and all its components get loaded into the press at 210 degrees for 25 minutes.
