What is a Breakthrough Moment?

It is a point in time when our participants let go of the anchors that have been holding them back and constricting their worldviews. The Breakthrough Moment is powerful. During quiet reflection, at an event, in the midst of a conversation, or upon entering the Breakthrough classroom, our participants experience this transformation and make strides in their growth. The Moment is different for everyone, but its impact is always profound.

Sign-up deadlines for our June events at Arkansas Valley Correctional Facility and La Vista Correctional Facility are quickly approaching—and these are two of our largest cohorts yet, with 70 participants at AVCF and 50 at LVCF.

To create the kind of meaningful, high-quality experience our participants deserve, we’re aiming for a 1:1 volunteer-to-participant ratio—and we can’t do it without you.

Mock Interview events help our participants prepare for reentry by providing a constructive space to where they develop interview skills, receive resume feedback, and build confidence in their potential in the workforce.
