Hello friends. Our goat Rudy really needs some Timothy pellets now and some goat feed with ammonium chloride in it.
I had some and brought them but apparently it was moldy. I’m in Arkansas at our new property cleaning up a ton of trash and debris that someone dumped and Rudy is in Brighton at sonflower ranch.
He needs the feed to stay at weight. He can’t chew correctly because he had dental problems so we always supplement him. If someone can help me out and deliver, I can purchase from tractor supply tomorrow.
I appreciate the help while I build a little. There’s amazing parts and ugly parts but I can fix it quickly with your help.
Just send me a message here if. I know I have been asking for a ton of support. We’re on a great path though. This is the hard and ugly part of conservation that I’m realizing. Thank you for supporting and trusting the path. I’ll keep striving. -Jim

One More Unexpected Setback – We Need Your Help
I wish this update were different, but we have run into another unexpected obstacle during our relocation to Arkansas. Regardless I am determined to work through this rough patch.
After transporting equipment to our new property, we discovered that our trailer is not roadworthy until the wheel bearings are completely repacked and resealed. This is a critical safety repair that has to be completed before I can make the return trip to continue moving the rest of our equipment and the herd.
Unfortunately, this comes after several expensive setbacks already. During the trip we experienced a failed alternator and two flat tires, all of which drained the transportation funds we had carefully budgeted.
The bearing repair will cost an additional $500, on top of the transportation funds we are already trying to raise.
This week is incredibly important. I need to return to Arkansas to continue clearing the property, building the goat enclosures, and preparing the land so our rescued therapy herd can safely relocate. Without a functioning trailer, everything comes to a standstill.
If Goat Walkabouts has ever made a difference to you, your family, or someone you know, I'm asking for your help once again. Please help us get to where we need to be. Every donation—whether it's $10, $25, $50, or more—gets us one step closer to finishing this move and establishing our permanent home.
Thank you to everyone who has stood beside us through this transition. Your encouragement, donations, and shares have carried us farther than we could have gone alone. This is one of the more challenging obstacles I have faced, there are some fears but I am as prepared as I will ever be. I love this herd and they deserve a safe horse trailer.
If you're unable to donate, sharing this post is another meaningful way to support our mission.
We will reach the goal as a community.
