With our record-breaking, unseasonably warm winter, I think it is leaving us all very confused on what our spring will look like. What we know will be a challenging year with the lack of snow this winter, and other municipalities have issued their current water restrictions.

Mid-March is the time to have cut your ornamental grasses so they're ready for new spring growth.
Our Customer Relationship Manager, Tom Eddy will take you through the technique and tools you need to cut these grasses. The most common grasses that may be in your hard and need to be cut are Karl Foerster and Maiden Grass/Miscanthus.
❌ The ornamental grass not to cut: Mexican Feather Reed Grass and other Evergreen grasses. Instead, lightly "comb" out dead blades with your fingers or a hand rake.
