Spring comedy show photo dump! When life is throwing curveballs and Mercury is in retrograde, an improv show is my safe space. Which sounds weird, I get it: improv involves standing in front an audience of people and having absolutely no idea what’s going to happen during the set. (Often with very little make-up and not looking super cute). It’s the stuff of some people’s literal nightmares.
But for my weird brain it’s a gift. Nothing to do but listen to my scene partners, trust my instincts, and somehow discover a story. For somewhere between 15 and 90 minutes, all the other noise in head goes away and I get to play pretend with my friends.
