I buy direct in Chimayo NM who's family has used the same seed for over 5 generations. 100 years of the same family seed, sun-dried and harvested the old way. The store next to the Santuario sells their Chimayo Heritage/ heirloom chile powder starting at $11.25 for 4oz. which is $45 a lb...... I am able to move the same Chimayo Heritage/heirloom chile at much lower price since I buy direct from the family farm.
