This got me thinking about the process from seed to soil, harvest to still.. there’s beauty in keeping it simple.

The path from farm to bottle isn’t always easy, but it is honest. It’s about growing with care, crafting with purpose, and letting quality speak for itself.

Rye has a rich tradition in American whisky. Famed for its bold flavor, we wanted to stay true to this staple while adding in our own Texan twist. That’s why, when it came to sourcing, we were determined to use a variety of rye developed close to home. This led us to the soft and expressive Elbon rye, which is Texas-grown and sourced from our friends at MBS Seed. Packed with creamy notes of floral and lemongrass, this variety has nuanced layers of flavor that add depth to our lineup of expressive whiskies, including our Texas Rye Bottled in Bond composed of 91% Raw Texas Elbon Rye.
