I just learned about the passing of our good friend, our body shop go to guy Israel Salas.
Condolences to his wife, his children, grandchildren and all of his extended family.

Israel was one of the hardest working men I’ve ever known. Even when his body was telling him slow down he never listened to it and kept on keeping on. Every time I drive my wife’s Yukon I think of him and how I wish I had let him paint the whole vehicle and not just the hood and roof. I shoulda listened to you my old friend.

You will forever be sorely missed.

Rest in peace buddy.

During the last 20 years of business you get to know the people who help make your business successful, from delivery drivers to parts suppliers, they are part of my team, they become friends, and then when someone new shows up with your tire order from Gateway Tire and he tells you Kendrick passed away it just hurts so bad, because he was more than just the guy who delivered my tires, he was that smiling face that was always happy to see you, he was that “hey man, hows your family” kind of guy.

Kendrick, your loss is weighing heavy on all of us who loved you. Please rest easy my friend.

Gateway tire, we are truly sorry for your loss.
