Created in the late 1970s by Yves Saint Laurent, this ensemble deploys a delightfully coordinated set of materials. A floral printed fabric is embellished with matching crochet bands in black, teal, red, and purple, with beads mimicking the silk’s reflective properties. A matching skirt accentuates the teal in the floral, draping casually in contrast to the structured jacket.
