The first office of the Multicultural Center opened in 1994 and was on the fourth floor of the old University Union. It had 3 full-time staff members, a two offices, and a small workroom. The center has gone through several name changes and has been part of both the Division of Student Affairs and the Division of Equity and Diversity.
