In this presentation, Dr. Kristin Miller discussed the metacontingencies of the public health system and how practitioners of behavioral interventions can benefit from an understanding to these contingencies. She also describes how culturally and linguistically diverse families and families from low socio-economic status and possibly not receiving all of the health services and education that they need. As behavior analysts, a better understanding of these conditions can help us better server these clients and families.
