Climer Design

I just wrapped up a vintage travel postcard illustration and design. This little section of it is one of my favorites. These characters are a colorized version of a 3-piece bronze statue in downtown Denison at the old Katy Railroad train depot. This is a vector line drawing done in Adobe Illustrator with added texture in Photoshop. 

The intro to Richard Hawley's Long Black Train seemed like a perfect fit. Beautiful song!

I've only tried skiing once and it wasn't pretty. Unlike this vintage ski babe who is skipping across the waters of Lake Texoma on the newest postcard for Denison tourism.

My introverted self tends to avoid gatherings but the opening reception for the Altered Realities show was tons of fun. It helps that there were lots of friends attending and showing their art. Plus having Lisa, my partner in crime, there with me is always fun. Denison Arts Council is such a great group and I appreciate them displaying three of my neon sign creations.
