So we just called “Lap of Love” since we have an elderly dog.
They are a veterinary hospice and in home Euthanasia mobile “vet”.
They charge $500 for an in-home assessment. I’m a small business owner as well. I’d never charge 3 times more than a vet to do what you ask me to do, or even a mechanic, yes I do that as well.
Greed has consumed this world. A friend of mine was quoted $3,500 to take down a tree. Utility company said they will disconnect the power lines and reconnect during normal business hour for free. And it’ll cost him $400 to buy a chainsaw big enough to do it.
What has this world become??
Does everyone want to retire off of 1 job?
How about we wind the clocks back about 150 years and we help our fellow man, expect nothing in return and be grateful when they repay us with help or products from their land.
So that said, $500 for an “in home” assessment is ridiculous, when a vet clinic charges less for an assessment and the final outcome.
