Colorado Custom Broncos and Performance

Having great customers is everything, and when they trust you with their dream vehicles, it means the world to us! This bronco came from Durango Co. and showed up with a few issues the owner wanted to iron out as well as upgrade a few things while it was here. We started with a very nice bronco to begin with, but the old 302 and C4 automatic was very tired, under powered and just wasn’t cutting it. The owner decided on a new 347 stroker with efi, AFR heads, and full roller valve train ( built by Batemans Garage in northern Utah) along with a new 5 speed setup from WILD Horses 4x4. With the added power came a bunch of custom parts and upgrades to handle what the engine will now be capable of and to keep it as safe as possible going down the road. Starting with chromoly axles in the front and rear, 31 spline posi third member, Centerforce clutch, hydroboost brakes with Wilwood master cylinder, rear disc brakes, extreme duty drivelines, quick ratio steering, new tilt column, aluminum radiator, roll bar, hardened shafts in the transfer case, and full stainless steel exhaust system. Just to name a few. We will be firing the engine up soon and starting the test and tuning process here at the shop. Here are some before and after photos.
