As long-time EMS providers, this story out of Brantley County is deeply moving. This one is especially close to our hearts, with personal connections to those impacted by these fires.
While serving his community on the front lines of the wildfire response, this medic continued to answer calls and care for others—even as his own home was burning.
This kind of sacrifice is not unique to one profession, but is shared among those who serve—EMS, fire, law enforcement, and military.
We are lifting him, his family, and the entire Brantley County community in prayer. 🙏

Today is our final day serving as the 911 ambulance provider for the Delta Junction community.
It’s hard to put into words what this chapter has meant—not just for Delta Medical Transport, but for our family, our crew members, and for us personally.
Delta Medical Transport was founded to meet a clear need for consistent, reliable patient care in this community. Together, with our crew, we built this company with a vision to serve—to show up when it mattered most. Over the years, we’ve had the honor of doing just that.
We’ve been invited into homes in moments of fear, grief, uncertainty, and hope. That kind of trust is something we have never taken lightly.
To our patients and families—thank you for trusting us when it mattered most.
To our crew members, past and present—you are the heart of this service. Your compassion, skill, long hours, and quiet sacrifices made this more than just a job. You built something meaningful here, and we are incredibly proud of each of you.
To the volunteers, fire departments, dispatchers, and our mutual aid partners—thank you for standing beside us, call after call. This work has always been a team effort, and we are better because of each of you.
This journey has not been easy. It has required sacrifice, resilience, and a deep commitment to doing what was right for patients—day in and day out—regardless of the challenges behind the scenes.
For us as a family, this has been more than a business. It has been our life. We have worked side by side—building, leading, and supporting one another through every high and low—and we are deeply grateful for that partnership and for the opportunity to serve this community together.
Delta Medical Transport has never just been about transporting patients. It has been about people. About showing up. About doing our very best, even when it was hard.
While today marks the end of this chapter in Delta Junction, what was built here—the relationships, the impact, the care—doesn’t just disappear. It carries forward in every life touched and every person who will continue to serve.
