This was a fun finding! My temp readers in my hive are hit and miss if they'll connect to my phone. They did today and the temps were a fun surprise! Outdoor temps have been high of -20s for the last couple weeks! Bees are amazing!!

This is what happens when you forget to put a frame in and leave a gap in the hive! The bees will build their own comb down from the lid.
Thankfully there were no eggs in this yet, just honey stores 😀
⛔️Downside is they did a lot of work that needs to get removed.
✅️Plus side is we get a taste of the very first dandelion honey and get a good chunk of wax to melt down. 🍯 🐝
