Our program includes an environmental curriculum, energy and water conservation, recycling, an annual family Earth Day event, Green Team parent volunteers, Earth Teacher Committee, hydroponic and organic food gardening, a butterfly garden and an extensive Habitat Restoration Project involving many community partnerships and plans to create an Outdoor Learning Area in the Morikami Preserve.
Please join us for our first Friends of Morikami Preserve meeting, Monday Sept. 12th at 2:15 in Mrs. Russell's classroom. All ages welcome!

Studies show that students who learn in outside classrooms have improved test scores, stronger problem solving, critical thinking and decision making skills and less behavior issues.
