Delran Fire Department

This evening Delran Fire Department responded to the area of St. Mihiel Drive and Main Street for a motor vehicle vs. train accident. Arriving units deemed everyone to be out of the vehicle and began assessing those on the train. With the assistance of multiple mutual aid EMS organizations, Cinnaminson Fire Department fire police units, Delran Township Police Department, Burlington County Central Communications, Riverside Police Department and NJ Transit Police units, crews were able to quickly and efficiently tend to those that needed assistance and es**rt them off the train to awaiting EMS crews, so they could be transported if necessary. The roadway and railway was soon after reopened to normal traffic and transit functions.
