Delmar Place

Delmar Place, once again, hosted a fabulous Thanksgiving Dinner this year for our residents and about twenty of their guests. Everyone feasted on a choice of a Herb Roasted Turkey Breast with Cranberry Sauce or a Seasonal Stuffed Pork Roast with Gravy and Applesauce. Accompaniments included Stuffing, Brown Sugar Glazed Sweet Potatoes, and Broccoli Au Gratin. Desserts covered the range from Apple, Pumpkin, and Pecan Pies to Assorted Ice Creams. Everyone had a great time and walked away stuffed.

As summer comes into the home stretch, the Delmar Place residents are all winners with the packed August activities schedule. Check it out and encourage your loved ones to become involved.

As every kid knows, summer weather means ice cream. Our residents enjoyed a cooling trip to Tastee Treat for a sweet break from the heat.

Who says the FunPlex Fun Park in East Greenbush is just for kids? Yesterday, some Delmar Place residents were par for the course while showing off their minature golf skills there. One even got a hole-in-one.

The rainy weather this week didn't deter a group of Delmar Place residents from visiting the Five Rivers Enviornmental Educational Center run by the NYS Departmental of Enviromental Conversation.
