HONEY TASTING PROGRAM IN AUGUST AT FIVE RIVERS ENVIRONMENTAL EDUCATION CENTER (Delmar).
Join a Friends of Five Rivers beekeeper to explore the honey making process and taste the sweet result – HONEY! View and hold frames of honey straight from the hive. Remove the wax cap on your own portion of honey comb to release the honey. Taste the flowing honey and enjoy its flavor. Compare the flavor with other honeys in a mini taste test before taking a short walk to the hive to thank the honey bees for sharing.

Explore and discover the wonders of nature as an adult this summer by participating in the Adult Nature Camp coordinated by Friends of Five Rivers. Engage in nature-friendly crafts, games, and activities, while connection and relaxation through daily poetry selections and quiet walks will be encouraged.
Learn more on our website regarding the July 21-23 and August 18-20 sessions. Note that only 10 people accepted per session as we work with small groups to learn and explore.
