August brings new changes for buyers and the use of exclusive buyer agent agreements. I have prided myself on being an agent whose work speaks volumes for itself and never pressured any of my clients to sign an exclusive agreement to work with me.

Though the years I have only had a few grimy buyers who took my valuable time from my family, put miles and wear on my car, failed to respect norms of civility and went behind my back to complete their real estate transaction.

The few who did, still never made lose faith in humanity and I continued to work for my clients without an exclusive agreement. Changes in the industry are now forcing me to change my ways.
