Ohio State - Delaware County 4-H

Have you seen this dream team yet?! You'll get to! These three students joined our office in May and will be working alongside the rest of the staff to assist us in having a smooth summer for you all!
A little more about them...

You might know Wyatt, he worked with us last summer and we're overjoyed to have him back! Wyatt is studying Moving Image Production and Earth Science at tOSU and hails from Galena, OH. He is also a member of the Buckeye Leadership Fellows and Mad Royal Film Society at the University. In his free time, you might find Wyatt running, cooking, or scrolling Facebook Marketplace.

Andrew is completing a dual degree in Finance and Moving Image Production at tOSU and is from Brecksville, OH. In Andrew's free time, he often explores the kitchen, reads, or catches a movie at Gateway. This is Andrew's first experience in the Extension field and he is excited to get exposed to the careers in this area.

Andrew and Wyatt's main tasks in the office will include developing and editing all of the video content for Ohio State Extension. This includes projects like E-fields and E-barns and working alongside communities like Delaware County 4-H and groups of State Field Specialists.

Meredith is studying Community Leadership - Community and Extension Education at tOSU. Raised in Chillicothe, OH, her 4-H background sprouts from having been a 13-year member of Ross County's program, and she is currently involved with the Mount Leadership Society Scholars at the University. She will be facilitating STEM programming across the county at community locations, and helping out at our 4-H events and camps. In her free time, Meredith likes to hike, read, play sand volleyball, and help her younger sister with her 4-H projects.

We are very proud Jacci for her work in development of lambing simulators! Well deserved!!

Jacci Smith, an Ohio State University Extension educator in Delaware County, received the Innovation Award at the 2026 CFAES Awards. 🏆

Jacci's work focuses on small ruminant production and community development, as well as equipping youth with hands-on skills for future careers in livestock production. Their passion for education, youth skill development and building community partnerships is evident in all of the work they have done with Extension.

🎉Please join us in congratulating Delaware County 4-Her Lauren Brenner on her recent graduation!
Lauren is a member of the Keepin it Country 4-H Club and has been a participant of Delaware County 4-H for 13 years! She has completed projects within the goat, rabbit, hog, dog, goose, leadership, agricultural and natural resources, public speaking, cooking, and dairy cattle focus areas.
As the 4-H year wraps up, we’re proud to honor the Class of 2026 and celebrate the lasting contributions these members have made during their time in 4-H. We are proud of all that Lauren has accomplished and cannot wait to see what the future has in store for her! Congratulations 🎉
