Today it was imperative that we showed up to honor those who served and paid the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom. During this morning’s flag placing event, Veterans of Foreign Wars was joined by dedicated volunteers, including Miss Del Rio Duchess Hailey Alonso, Miss 5 de Mayo Teen Sophia Sanchez, Miss Val Verde Aaliyah Alonso, and Lil Miss Val Verde Ziana Robles, as they helped pay respect to our nation’s heroes.

Their service and presence were a meaningful reminder that honoring our fallen is a responsibility shared across generations. 🇺🇸
