Comstock: 47.5% Hispanic, 47.1% White, 6.4% at risk, 29.9% Economically Disadvantaged and a 1.4% Dropout Rate. Eagle Pass: 97.2% Hispanic, 1.4% Native American, 1% White, 59% At Risk, 84.6% Economically Disadvantaged, 6% Migrant, 3.4% Dropout Rate. Carrizo Springs: 92% Hispanic, 6.6 White, 51.6% At Risk, 79.5% Economically Disadvantaged, 10.6% Migrant Workers, 5% Dropout Rate. Crystal City: 98.8% Hispanic, 58.9% At Risk, 87.3% Economically Disadvantaged, 7.6% Migrant, 6.1% Dropout Rate. The bottom line is that our West Texas Border communities are in need of resources, intervention and prevention.
