this year, we did some stuff. we also did some things. but most of all, we did nothing. and i think that’s beautiful 🦋

Over the weekend we lost our friend .chase.33 to a tragic battle with depression. Just a couple of nights ago she was at our show, supporting local and touring bands at where she booked our first show in Ocala back in 2023. Since then she’s been a great friend to LD. In spite of the internal struggles that she was enduring, she came out to spend what would ultimately be her last night on earth with us to dance, buy merch, and to share her excitement for a DIY music festival she was planning for the purpose of spreading awareness for mental health. As I type this with tears in my eyes, I wonder what could have been said or done that night to make her realize how appreciated, admired, and loved she was—instead, we are asking you with heavy hearts to donate to this fundraiser for her funeral costs along with the costs of keeping her dream alive. Raven, we miss you already, but you won’t be forgotten. I challenge everyone reading this to consider donating even a dollar if you can. Her vision was one worth supporting—she would have done it for you.
