Cramming 12 students into a school minibus in the fall of 2020 is not possible due to Covid-19, so the Outing Club has been sponsoring 2-hour hikes at our local Blue HIlls Reservation each weekend. The students meet us at Blue HIlls, everyone wears masks, we sit socially-distanced during breaks, and we get to enjoy the beautiful fall in New England, get outdoors for some healthy exercise, and enjoy the camaraderie of classmates.

Our traditional hike up Falling Waters Trail to Mt. Little Haystack and Franconia Ridge at the start of winter break, Dec. 19th. Part of the group made it to Mt. Lincoln despite the strong wind. Some great glissading on the trip down. (Pictures by Ben Heider)
