Great having VA Boston out at McGolf this week with their Spinal Cord Injury and Outpatient Veterans group. Awesome group and a fun day for everyone!

🌱 Big day at McGolf! 🌱

Today we aerated, top dressed, overseeded, and added organic fertilizer—one of the most important steps to keep our green healthy and rolling true. With September’s cooler conditions, it was finally the right time to get it done.

This summer brought big challenges: extreme heat, tough weather, and Dollar Spot disease made it harder than usual to keep the green at its best. We had to wait for the right weather to treat it properly, and our crew worked tirelessly all season.

Now, this fresh round of care will open up the soil, smooth the surface, grow in new turf, and feed it with nutrients. With our new superintendent leading the way, we’re excited to see the green bounce back stronger than ever.

We’re always committed to giving golfers the best surface possible—today’s work is a huge step toward that. Stay tuned for the results next week!
