In response to an ongoing problem with vandalism, the Park District has developed “Park Watch” to help prevent crimes in our parks and on Park District property. As you drive by parks, playgrounds and facilities, please be on the look-out. These areas belong to all in our community and are supported by tax dollars. The Decatur Park Districts Toro Workman 2100 (Model #7253, Serial #200000282, Year 2002) was stolen from the Graceland Baseball Fields.
There is also the number "603" on the front, that could be damaged or covered. Last known to be traveling toward Taylor & Olive streets.
This vehicle is vital to maintaining our youth baseball and softball programs, and without it, our ability to support these programs will be seriously impacted.
Other items were taken related to youth baseball and softball including a large number of baseball hats associated to the St.Louis Cardinals and Redbird Rookies.
