Mixed-Culture Farmhouse Ale - 5.3% ABV

We’re thrilled to introduce our latest Mixed-Culture Farmhouse Ale collaboration with the fantastical and chimeric Mythk Brewing !!

From the swampy depths of Florida, Michael from MYTHK took a Sidequest to Atlanta to reconnect with our Head Brewer Spencer, and come together and create a beer in homage to the farmhouse / saison ales they so dearly love.

Pilsner and wheat malts from Carolina Malt House lay the bready and crackery foundation for Saison and Brett yeasts to intermingle in stainless steel for about 4 months. Fresh CGX NUVO Strata hops from Crosby Hops are introduced in the boil and in fermentation to give us some dank dark berry aromas coupled with a tad of herbaceous flavor. Lots of time in the fermenter allowed the yeast combos to create flavors of clove, black pepper, and white wine funk, melded in harmony with the other ingredients.

The result is an extremely dry and crushable farmhouse ale perfect for combatting the true terror of the sun. We’ll be crushing this one on the patio through the first false fall. Extreme gratitude to Michael at MYTHK for making the journey to create this with us.
