First Kids Ministry

Sunday is Bible Presentation for our current Kindergarteners. I hope you have all picked up your Bibles to be filled out by family/friends. If not, we have more at church and will give them one. We encourage you to share the imprtance of the Bible with them once received.

Sunday is a MILESTONE. They are getting their first readable Bible from the church. As they learn to read, we hope the Bible is one of the books they turn to and enjoy reading. We are happy as a kds Ministry to come alomgside the family in this partnership.

Now here is the schedule for Sunday.
9:00-9:30 - Kelly Carter will be in the underground to recieve the Bibles from you and write names in them (if you have not already)
9:30 - Kindergarteners will do large group Bible Study then head to the sanctuary for a runthrough (the more kids here the merrier for rehearsal because it runs a LOT smoother)
10:20 - Kindergartners will take their place in the Sanctuary. We are the FIRST thing of the service. I will give a quick speech and then we will begin calling them to stage to receive their Bibles. They will get their Bible from Pastor Blake near the organ, they will take a picture near the drum side of the stage, then they will line up across the front. Find your best place for a picture.
They will dismiss with the kids back to Children's Worship.

This is a great day to invite neighbors, family, and friends to church to see them shine. Looking forward to Sunday.

Tomorrow We Move Up!

Our kids join their new classes tomorrow. An exciting day where we will celebrate a new year in our new curriculum, inform parents, and meet those who will lead this year. Join us for the schedule below:

9:00 Meet the teacher and donuts
9:10 Pray over 6th Graders moving to youth & showing bricks for all who completed Bible Challenges (gift for 6th Graders)
9:15 Parent Meeting while kids are learning
10:10 Dismiss to service
