Nathan Angelo

For this album, my role was similar to a painter who witnesses a beautiful landscape or a photographer who captures a moment between a bride and groom. I was less the author or subject and more the eyewitness of something (& someone) much bigger than myself. It was my attempt to capture and convey the beauty, truth and goodness that springs forth from God’s Word in a way that was honest to me as an artist and songwriter.

As a believer, these songs are responses to passages that have deeply moved my heart, stirred my soul and brought me peace. As a father, these songs have become anthems and sing-a-longs in our home and in our cars. They are vehicles to help us, as a family, hide God’s Word in our hearts.

From the bottom of my heart, thank you for listening. Soli Deo gloria!

It has been almost a year since I announced my Sound Affections project. The time and creative energy I have poured into this project over the past three years are coming to fruition, as the full-length album will be available everywhere tonight at midnight! I am thrilled for the opportunity to share God’s word through music. These passages have encouraged, uplifted, and strengthened me in supernatural ways, and I desire for you to experience the same. I invite you to listen and join me in marveling at our amazing God.

Friends- I’m excited to announce I’m releasing my debut Sound Affections album, Refuge & Strength, on August 7...in just three weeks! You can preorder physical copies on my website (CD) or on iTunes today. You can pre-save on Spotify as well. We also have new t-shirts based on Colossians 3:16, a verse that perfectly sums up why I wanted to put God’s Word to music. [SWIPE to see the rad t-shirt design] As an independent musician, this project relies entirely upon your support. Thank you for joining me in this new endeavor. Please share with your churches, brothers and sisters in Christ, and friends! 🙌🏼 Link(s) in bio.

Thanks to everyone who came out last night and joined us at Downtown Alive! It was great to be back playing music in our city. Hope to do it again soon. 🙏🏼
