Children aren’t just the future of our church, they are its present. At CrossRoads, we want kids to know the truth about God: that He is big and amazing and full of love for all His children. It’s not enough that our kids know “about” God, we want them to “know” God. Our team of trained and committed children’s ministry leaders are passionate about creating a hunger in young hearts and minds for what God is doing in our midst. We have something for all children from infants through fourth grade!

In 2 Corinthians 10:12-13, we’re reminded that it’s not wise to compare ourselves with others. Why would we want to be anyone but the person God made us to be? God doesn’t make mistakes, and he made each of us special and one of a kind for a reason.
Here are some tips to help kids growing up in the social media generation remember their own value, just as they are:
Celebrate your child's hard work and unique God created gifts!
Encourage them to try new things, even if the are hard at first!
Help your child USE their gifts and time to serve others- make cards, help neighbors!

CrossRoads Kids learned about living with TRUE JOY last week. Living out Paul's words can be a challenge BUT Philippians 2 reminds us to " rejoice even if I lose my life, pouring it out like a liquid offering to God... And I want all of you to share that joy. 18 Yes, you should rejoice, and I will share your joy!" As followers of Jesus we live with joy NO MATTER WHAT!
