McMinnville residents are keeping a close eye on plans for a new artificial intelligence data center within city limits.

A Tennessee River tributary by the U.S. Space and Rocket Center is a lot cleaner this weekend thanks to some nonprofit workers.

Tennessee Riverkeeper says the collected 1,976 pounds of trash ranging from single-use plastics to tires and discarded bicycles to large metal debris. The most common items were polystyrene foam, plastic bags, bottles and straws.
