This is just a PSA for things you never think you will have to deal with or go through and we hope you don't. For the women out there, when you are driving.......... zip your purse so the contents will stay in your purse and seat belt your purse just like you seat belt your self or other passengers. Make sure you have an emergency contact on your DL info so it's easily pulled up for law enforcement who is working an accident you may be involved in. If possible, keep your phone in your purse so that it won't be tossed around or lost if you are in an accident. Keep a list of emergency contacts in your wallet as well as a list of yours or your children's health issues/allergies. The way personal items are thrown around, thrown out of the vehicle and strewn for feet..........sometimes they may not be recovered. Don't leave your car title in your glove box, put it in a safe, secure location at your home or in a safe deposit box and do not sign it until you are selling the vehicle. Any model car that is able to have OnStar.......... pay for it, it's so worth it. Put an emergency contact on that as well and they will be called when there is a crash detected. The main part is just be careful, aware and alert........watch your surroundings. Check your rear view mirrors and side mirrors, be aware of what is going on in all directions. The accidents happening in this area are alarming, to say the least. Loss of life and serious injuries are happening too often. Last, but certainly not least, keep the families of all the accident victims in your thoughts......... this is a very sad time in our little community right now. Please be safe.
