cone mix is to prepare and shape, and freeze until ready to use. In our research, we found that our mix holds up very well to cold. Just prepare as directed, shape and freeze. When you are ready to serve, remove from freezer, place in oven frozen and bake for 20 minutes. OR if you don't have access to an oven, use your toaster oven and bake at 350 for 30 minutes. Perfect every-time! We wanted to make our mix easy for all to use, but not taste like cardboard. So we developed the mix so that you will add a few ingredients from home. This way you can say to your friends when serving Tea that you made them and didn't purchase them. Most people shy away from making Scones from scratch because of the tools needed. But we have developed our mix so that all you need is a bowl, a fork, and a course cheese grater to grate your 1/4 cup of unsalted butter, 1 egg, and 1/4 cup of water. As easy as a boxed cake mix.
