Decatur Fire Department

Our crews were dispatched to the courthouse around 10:15 this evening for a fire alarm and possible smell of smoke. After thoroughly checking the building, we were unable to locate any signs of fire or smoke.

Once the building was cleared, our crews took the opportunity to discuss tactics and review options in the event of a fire at the courthouse. Every call presents a chance to learn, train, and prepare, and we believe in making the most of every opportunity.
