From monkey skulls and surgical tools to embalming machines, If it's old and/or odd, I want to see it or sell it.

Hello my favorite purveyors of the Odd and Antique !
I know that it's been a while, but I am still here and brushing off the cobwebs of empty time and bandages. This is Merrick, the owner of The Odd's End and fellow collector.

So Tell Me,...
What are the weirdest things or antiques you have sitting around in your attic, basement or Livingroom Galleries ?

I'll start with a couple of things, a rather large alligator's head in a glass case and a whaling Harpoon above the double doors of my Den.

HELLO all of you Midnight Miscreants and After-Hour Abnormals ! This is your old Uncle Merrick.

There have been a lot of questions asked about why The Odd’s End closed when it did and I’m here to explain it.
No, it was no matter of financial hardship as our sales and trades were actually going VERY splendidly indeed. It wasn’t a falling out amongst Paul, Mason or Myself, as we shall always be fast friends.
It had more to do with the following reasons…
The hole in the roof was getting worse and worse to the point of damaging some of the stock and making me question the stability of the upper structure of the building itself and the landlord would NEVER put a new roof on it.
Paul started feeling like he needed to retire because he wanted to spend more time traveling with his Wife and family as they are Travel Bugs and working trips around his time at the shop was becoming taxing with my being out so often to add to the burden already at hand. There were more very viable reasons to throw in as well.
At the same time, Mason’s wings opened up to spread even wider and the space he was afforded at the shop was becoming cramped, confining and full of interruptions not conducive to doing the amount of work and creation he has taken on.
As for me, with all of the health issues I have encountered over the last year, I was in pain most all of the time to the point that my very mobility was questionable at times, making it hard to do what I loved doing the most and it started to become depressing.
But I want to make one thing PERFECTLY CLEAR !....and that is that it was YOU guys that made us able to love what we did so much. It was YOU that made me eager to come to work and do what I always wanted to do for a living ! And I Thank You, from the bottom of this dark heart.

I will still go on finding and selling strange and curious things from my home and I am quite sure that Paul will continue to pop up now and then, give us a lecture and make us laugh with his entertaining personality and Mason will continue to grow and create the most fascinating tales and illustrations to captivate the masses of those with intellect and imagination.
