Valley Computer Resources started in 1995 when founder John Johnson recognized a growing need for the use of computers in small businesses. As an accountant and computer enthusiast his idea was to offer computers and bookkeeping software to his business clients. He started in the waiting room of his accounting office. By the second year Valley Computers had sold over $500,000 and had to relocate to a larger facility in the Gateway Shopping Center. Twentysix years later Valley Computers has grown into a diverse operation that has customers throughout North Alabama and Tennessee. The journey to this point has included contract repair work major brands such as Dell and Hewlett Packard. In addition, we have had the pleasure of serving some of the Tennessee Valley’s most prestigious industrial companies as well as thousands of medium and small businesses, organizations and home computer users. These are maintenance plans that stress prevention over repair and are fully customized to the exact requirements of each customer.
